Hancock's Resolution is an 1785 middling farm in Anne Arundel County. The Hancock family lived in the stone house until 1963 without adding electricity or running water. The house was built by Stephen Hancock, a private during the Revolutionary War. Stephen is buried in the Hancock family grave yard on the property.
