Here are some instructions on how to complete 'Playing the Past":

       PLAYING THE PAST

Complete the 5 steps to earn Playing the Past.

1. Decide who you are: Pick a time period that you find interesting and get to know what life was like for girls. Get to know your character by making a diary entry for that character or play a game of 20 questions with others.

2. Create a costume - Dress up like your character. Make an at home costume or a few accessories to wear. If you don't have anything at home for your costume grab some paper and design your outfit.

3. Experience daily life. What was the home life like of your character and where do you find out what that was like?

4. Have some old fashioned fun. Play a game that was popular during that time period. We have technology and games that were not around before. Find a popular game or activity to play and see how kids had fun before technology.

5.Become your character. Show off your character to your family and show them all the things that you learned. You can even take them along and play the games and dress up with you.
