Skipjack Heritage, Inc. is a non-profit organization that preserves and promotes appreciation of the Skipjack and
the Chesapeake Bay life of working watermen and the bounty of the Bay.
It is our mission to:
A. Preserve the maritime history of the Skipjack, America's oldest working sailing vessel and the Official State Boat of Maryland.
B. Preserve the cultural heritage of the watermen's way of life
C. Educate current and future generations about the Skipjack's heritage, history, and challenges
