Picture Yourself in History!

The theme for Maryland Day 2015 will be “#MDSelfie: Picture Yourself in History, the Maryland Day Selfie Challenge.” Each participating site will have an object visitors will be able to take a selfie with and then upload to various social media sites using the hashtag #MDSelfie.

3 Months Until Maryland Day!

Many sites and organizations have already signed on to participate in Maryland Day 2015 and we could not be more excited! Next March, visitors will be able to visit some great new sites that have joined in on the celebration that have previously not participated. They include:

  • Goshen Farm- located on the Broadneck Peninsula, the property includes an 18th century farmhouse and 22 acre parcel of land.
  • Belvoir- Located in Crownsville, a restored 17th century historic home.
  • Enticement Stables at Obligation Farm- located in Harwood, the site is home to two facilities that offer horse riding lessons to all skills levels.

In the coming weeks, there will be a full list of participating sites and activities they plan to offer visitors. Please check back soon to start planning your weekend!
